My name is Elise. You may also know me as thelastdragonslayer, but you probably dont because I can count all the orgs I've played in on one hand.

If you are reading this confessional to get an idea of how this game is progressing, I am sorry but you are gonna have to look elsewhere this round. I honestly have no fucking clue whats going on.
Im on vacation atm (hence text confessional instead of video) so I basically just showed up for the challenge and thats it. I didnt even have time to read the challenge rules, but people read out trivia about the middle ages and I would answer it so I think I did well? I got at least half of them for my tribe because I am an expert in medieval history
Also I was apparently the only one who was smart enough to remember google exists. We somehow managed to get 2nd so yay! I actually prefer 2nd tbh. Having a vote = power. Not only do you get a say in who goes without being in danger, but it gives you an opportunity to prove your loyalty to people if you vote with them. I wanna get 2nd every round haha.
As for the other twist, all I know is there were captains and groups and voting or something. I guess captains chose tribes. None of that really matters, but it does suck that everyone knows I played chronicles. Excuse me while I go through the chronicles 13 board and delete anything that could be used against me. You never know when somebody might actually do research.
Anyways, I ended up on a tribe with no one I know. Yay. -_- Actually, I feel like I played against Jack in a mini once. I seem to remember he was really fucking annoying... But so far we've gotten along okay. I can't actually tell the difference between justin and tom yet but they seem nice. Andrew was there too but couldn't get into the call i guess. We did talk a bit afterwards. I told him we should watch out for each other. I have no idea if that will actually happen but its always good to have options. The ability to adapt is the most important part of survivor, so for the first few days my goal is to talk to as many people as possible to try to keep my options open and scout the opposition.
Most of my convos have just been small talk, but it was interesting to talk to the other chronicles players. Finally managed to talk to my chronicles 13 bff Nav today!
yaaaaay. Nav is awesome. I know he's played a shit ton of orgs so I probably need his allegiance far more than he needs mine, but still. Im just happy to see someone I know who doesnt hate my guts. Ideally we can manage to work together again this game. He's the Littlefinger to my Varys, when we arent trying to outdo each other we work very well together. But he would burn the kingdom to the ground if he could be king of the ashes. So I'll have to keep one eye open at all times because its better safe than sorry.
I also talked to fellow Chronicles winner Kate. Apparently she recognized me as I was in the viewers lounge that season (and never hesitated to point out when she was playing terribly. Oops.) Therefore I was a little hesitant to believe anything she said, but I do feel like we bonded over our mutual dislike of Jacob (the 3rd placer in her season). I actually have never met Jacob, but hey I'll pretend to hate the guy's guts if helps me get any further in the game
Down with Jacob, all hail Kate! I don't really see myself working with Kate, but you never know. Always good to make connections in case you need them.
One last chronicles person I know is Stephen. We're both on the same survivor podcast so Ive talked to him plenty of times before this season. He's a sweetheart. However, he is also the ally from hell. If he has friends in the cast he has a habit of waffleing over every vote because he doesn't want to piss anyone off. This, of course, results in absolutely everyone getting pissed off. Basically Alphabet Strategy 2.0. The strange thing is though, I think he knows very well what strategic moves he should be making. He just lets his emotions get in the way, and unfortunately Im probably not close enough to him to be the beneficiary of this. However, he is a super nice guy so I hope we can work together for a while. I just feel like one of us will probably end up screwing other over before this is done.
As for the other players in the game, Ive tried to say hi to most of them. Hoping to get in touch to everyone before the round is over. However, Ive been very surprised by the lack of campaigning going on. These people realize they're in danger of being voted out right? And Catania has a third of the votes going into judgment? My tribe all agreed that if we were in the bottom we'd try to get the 2nd place tribe with us to ensure we all had the votes to be safe. But everyone I talk to has claimed that no ones been vying for their votes either. I feel like Im trying to hand out free scholarship money and no one is applying for it. At this point, all someone would have to do is ask and Id vote with them rofl. Im no genius but these people must have the iq of rocks. Fuck.
Well hopefully things will pick up today as we get closer to judgment. I'll try to make a video confessional once I get home/figure out what the fuck is going on.
