WE WON THE CHALLENGE!!!!
Actually, correction* I WON THE CHALLENGE!!!!
^Me^
I say that because I woke up yesterday morning to find all my tribemates were dead. Also we were in last place. Sigh.
So after finding out that I was totally alone, I get a message from Jordan asking for a truce. He said he wanted to make sure I wouldn't attack him if he went online because he wanted to draw out Sara (who had been lurking) and get her out. Naturally I agreed because duh, its always better to ask for forgiveness after a deal gone wrong than to flat out refuse. And so he bravely went online, got greedy, tried to get flags, and was immediately killed by Sara. A moment of silence please for this great hero.
Fortunately, I was able to get Sara out while this was happening. It all worked out for me. Basically killed two birds with one stone. Unfortunately, we were still in dead last.
Wanting to gain immunity without dragging this on all day, I immediately went to Sara with a deal. Her tribe doesn’t attack me while I get just enough points to get 2nd, and they can use me as bait to get out Yap. They take an easy win, I get immunity, and this game ends asap. Everyone happy right?
Apparently not, because Sara said she didn’t want to make a deal until evening. Um. Why in the fuck would I wait all fucking day just to give you the win and pray that you let me get second. The whole point was so this would all be over by noon and I could spend the rest of the day catching up on BB. But Sara said they didn’t see anyone beating them. With 13 hours left in the challenge.
Spoiler alert: they lost.
While Sara was busy “thinking about the deal”, Jordan actually messaged me saying the forums were clear. I’m not sure why he wanted to help me (seeing as my winning meant him losing) but whatever. Thanks Jordan!
I then proceeded to get over 150 points without anyone catching me.
I had to work on an essay the rest of the day, which sucked but it made it easy to check the forums every few minutes. I got a little help from Tom who was nice enough to watch the forums for an hourn or two. And... that's all that happened. This challenge is boring as fuck.
I finally managed to get Josh out in the afternoon. Almost immediately afterwards every single fucking member of Palermo started messaging me wanting to be my best friend. Yeah okay. I'm sure that had nothing to do with the fact that you were down to one member and losing. By far the most interesting convo was with Albee, who wanted to make a deal to get out Yap. Before I could even say anything, he tried to threaten me that I would lose if I went back on his deal. XD lololol. Here’s a fun game: try to spot everything wrong with that statement. I counted at least 5.
So eventually Yap came online so I could kill him. I knew I had basically won at that point, since even if I died the challenge would be over and Id win. Catania were all celebrating, and even my good friend Albee started yelling “YES” “I LOVE YOU”. I'm not sure why he was so happy, but if he loves me for kicking his tribe’s ass at the challenge then great.
After one last feeble attempt of Bryce’s to convince me to let him get 1st place, he went online and I won. I do believe 2nd place is more valuable, but after staying online all fucking day I was not gonna lose this. Plus everyone would think I was a total idiot. I actually prefer that people think I’m kinda dumb at this point in the game because it allows me to fly under the radar, but losing like that would be Erik Reichenbach level shit. Too much.
So that concludes my recap of the challenge. Sorry, it was probably kind of a boring read. The only other CYS related thing I did yesterday was talk to a few people. Jack wasn’t online much, but I was able to have great convos with Tom, Justin and Andrew. Sara is a lot of fun to talk to when she’s not refusing deals. Jordan seems like a cool guy. Kate and I discussed puppies so she’s cool. I didn’t mention him in my last confessional because I hadn’t talked to him yet, but Josh is another Chronicles winner I sort of know. I had a great time talking to him. Super likeable, he’s the sort of person you would take to the end even if you knew he was gonna win in a landslide. I can see why he has a ridiculous amount of likes.
If I have anything interesting to talk about later today, I might sell my soul and make a video confessional. It'd be nice if future episode viewers knew I exist. But if nothing happens my second confessional will probably just be an episode of Alyssa's secret. Because thats important and relevant to CYS 17.
Definitely.
