Episode 13: Aint No Rest For The Wicked

Hey guys!

So Nav informed me I'm fucked this round if I dont win immunity.

Apparently Justin, Albee and Stephen all want me gone. Surprising? No. Disappointing? Yes.

Well, correction: Justin wants me gone. Stephen wants someone who is not him to go. Albee wants me and Stephen to go back to back.

I think as long as Stephen doesnt win I'll be okay. Albee might want me gone, but unlike Stephen Im not actively going after him at final 4. So thats a selling point.

I think (hope/pray) that Nav is on my side. If not I might as well just pack my bags and call it quits.

Best case scenario, I win immunity. I think I have a shot at balancing things. However, what will kill me is my computer cant stay on google hangouts for more that 2 seconds, let alone hours. Hoping my tablet will be better.

Worst case scenario, Stephen wins. I dont see a way out if this happens. Albee or Justin will have to think of each other as the bigger threats.

Its quite possible. i often pick up sayings from my allies. Thats also how I picked up the habit of referring to voted out players as "dead" and voting them out as "killing" them. After this season ill probably start talking in albees new york accent

So I guess I should probably post a confessional or something. 


^Note that this is gif is probably the most positive thing in this confessional. You have been warned.

I dont really know where to start. So much has happened the last few days.... Hell I dont even know where my head is at at this point. Its just been a whirlwind of drama, paranoia, constant skype calls and no sleep. I fucking hate late game.

Well I guess I shouldnt delay this any longer if I dont want to end the game with an invisible edgic. Here we go.



Part 1: Final 5 aka Nav can fucking die.

So Patrick was blindsided, which unsurprisingly made things incredibly awkward with Stephen. He was all like "HOW COULD YOU BETRAY THE PALZ" and I was like "Um you guys wanted to vote me out" and then he was like "well yeah we did consider it, BUT IT WAS ALBEE'S IDEA AND WE HADNT DECIDED ON IT". In other words, I was right. Patrick needed to go. 



Meanwhile, Albee and I celebrated getting rid of the fan and jury favorites. My calls with Albee have always been the most fun <3. Not to mention there's something so satisfying about voting out the favorite. I guess this is why I should never be cast; my habit of voting out the best can be a season ruiner. But who cares, all that matters is that I win. Its a great feeling to realize you greatly increased your odds of winning this damn thing. Dodged a bullet. Plus it's hilarious when the jury is like:

Anyways, the morning of the live challenge I get a call from Nav. This basically amounts to Nav saying everyones trying to vote me out, and theres nothing I can do to save myself.



What a great way to start the day huh?

Well, Im pretty sure that was a stretch but there was some truth to it.  I'm sure Stephen was throwing my name around because that's what he and Patrick were doing the round before. Stephen never comes up with an original plan himself so it's very likely he just decided to keep trying that and hope itd work out this time. As for the other three, they HAVE to know I'm a big threat. Justin straight up told me he thought I was winning if I made it to ftc. Nav admitted to have been planning to vote me out at around final 5 in sc13 (it wouldnt have worked because he would have needed Teto's vote, but still) and I was far less of a target in that game than this one. I'd like to think Albee was being loyal to me because I would have honored our final 2 deal. I don't think it makes a lot of sense for Albee to want to vote me out at 5 because, unlike Stephen, I would not be gunning for him at final 4. But I mean, the jury is littered with Albee's broken final 2 deals. Not to mention a few weeks ago Albee had told me that itd be "hard for him not to bring Justin and Nav to the end if they made final 4". Albee was probably my favorite person in this game, but he is both smart and self interested which is very dangerous late in the game. I dont think he was gunning for me, but I dont think he would have been too upset if I had gone home this week either. 

In other words, I was pretty sure I was fucked no matter what happened.

Im not one to just wait around and wait to be killed though. My entire game has been me making sure I was always one step ahead of everyone else so they couldnt quite get rid of me yet. And if it aint broke, dont fix it. 

I realize that my best bet for survival is to try and get Stephen to vote for someone who is not me. That way Nav Justin and Albee would all have to vote against me in order for me to go home. It's not a perfect plan, but it greatly increases my odds of staying. Worth a shot. 

And so, I go to Stephen saying that we both know its one of us tonight. Those three made a deal, and whichever of us doesnt win the challenge will go home. I didnt actually know if Nav/Justin/Albee made a deal, but considering Albee was too busy talking to them the entire night to talk to me for even 5 minutes I highly suspect something went down. Anyways, I offer to be Stephen's brain from now on in Patrick's stead. Its an offer he cant refuse. After drawing the conclusion that out of Justin/Albee/Nav Justin would probably win (I dont really think thats true, but who cares) I suggest we convince Albee to vote against Justin and therefore save us all. Arent I nice?

However, in Stephen's words Albee is a "gay vampire" and he refuses to work with him. Sigh. So instead, we decide to call up Nav. I message Nav to just agree with whatever Stephen says and we'll talk after. Best case scenario for me is Justin goes home that round. Gets rid of a threat and keeps the most obvious threat in the game to be booted instead of me at final 4. But naturally the universe hates me, so Justin wins immunity. Time to come up with a new sales pitch. 

I get Stephen and Nav on call to talk about the vote. Stephen is pushing hard for Albee.  Nav leaves to go on call with Albee and Justin, and all three come to the conclusion that Stephen needs to go. Nav and Albee both insist that Stephen is the vote (Justin is MIA as per usual). And so Stephen goes home and I get no votes cast against me. Mission accomplished! 



.... Well half right. I go on the vote reveal call and for the first time I am legitimately blindsided by the vote. I dont take failure well. I am fucking pissed.

I mean, I guess I shouldn't complain. The reason I allied with Albee in the first place was because I needed someone who was gutsy but would take the fall before I did,  giving me at least one round to scramble. And the whole reason I kept Nav in the game was because of his tendencies to a) self destruct and b) be convinced to make a radical move thats not in his best interest. However, it sucks to see Albee go out like this. Like, in what universe does Albee get taken out at final 5 by someone as worthless as Nav? Tbh I'm still trying to figure this out.

Supposedly Nav decided that he needed to make a big move to win the game. For some reason, he decides that making the vote a 2-2-1 split will prove that he has mastered the art of manipulation. Apparently he took one look at Andalib's strategy from OLS...

"Hi, I will most defiantly be in the 4th all-stars season let me explain how I will win or get to final 2. step 1) Since everyone will be trying to get out prince I will make 2 alliances 1 three person and one 2 person. step 2) Make every tc end in a tie making one person that's not me the target.

step 3) look for that idol. step 4) lie and say that so and so has the idol. step 5) get that person voted out. step 6) get so and so tied with prince if he is in the game. step 7) instant message prince that if he alines with me till final 4 I will spare him. step 8) carry him till final 5 and then teem up with the 3 others to make sure he dose not win. then vote him out. step 9) make a 2 person alliance and then just in case i don't win then we vote out one of the other 2. and finally

step 10) team up with my alliance to try to win the final challenge and if i win i choose him if i loose and he wins he chooses me. that how so good luck you'll need it "

....and decided it was the perfect gameplan. And so, he tries to get Stephen and I to vote against each other. Obviously as Stephens only lifeline he doesn't vote against me. I vote against Stephen because theres no way I'm voting out Albee (though Nav doesnt know that). So I guess Justin and Nav just gave up and vote Albee out. Why Albee? I have no fucking idea. I mean, I highly doubt Nav would have ever won at this point, but his odds are probably better with someone as hated as Albee next to him. I guess Nav just can't understand the concept that juries can and do vote for people they like as opposed to who made the most "big moves". 

Well, whatever the reason, I'm the only person who voted in the minority. I have the biggest target on me. And somehow Albee and I were "outplayed" by Nav. That's pretty fucking embarrassing.



I guess I assumed Nav was at least smart enough to realize that that was the most idiotic plan ever. I was wrong. It would have at least made more sense to me if they had voted me out instead of Albee. I mean, at the end of the day I survived. Yay me. It still boggles my mind though, especially assuming Albee/Nav/Justin made a final 3 deal. Albee still would/should have won in a landslide, but it seems less risky than keeping both me and Stephen around. But if there's one thing that was made abundantly clear this episode its that Nav doesnt make sense.

Part 2: Final 4 aka Nav can still fucking die.

So after that round, Nav goes on a rant about how great it was that he tricked us all. This apparently was his "game winning move" because now Stephen and I hate each other and he and Justin will make it to the end. Barf. Unfortunately for Nav, this plan has so many holes in it it can barely stay together. I simply go to Stephen like "hey I voted Albee" and my word is better than Nav's. Not to mention Nav's rants were driving us both insane, and nothing bonds people together more than mutual hatred. <3 

And so we make a deal to fuck over Nav and tie the vote against whoever doesnt win immunity. Going into final 4 there was no way I wasnt 4th, but now theres a very good chance it'll at least tie. Of course, Id rather not risk it. So I stay up all fucking night to win immunity. Ends up I went way longer than I had to because they all were terrible, but I wanted to be safe rather than sorry haha.



Of course, then Im faced with a dilemma. Should I screw over Stephen who is guaranteed votes? Or vote out Justin who never wronged anyone? Or should I vote Nav, who has randomly decided to sacrifice himself for Justin. Yeah. That happened.




Supposedly. he didnt want to vote out me or Stephen because Chronicles all stars is coming up. But he also couldnt bear to vote out Justin. By Nav logic, this apparently means begging Stephen and I to vote him out and then he "promises" to throw the tiebreaker. If that makes absolutely no sense to you, youre not the only one. Idek if he was  quitting or just trying to win the tiebreaker. But either way Nav is such a fucking goat that I wasnt voting him out. 

Ultimately, I just decide to tie it. Let whoever wins the tiebreaker make it to the end, it doesnt matter to me. Stephen ultimately wins, which sucks because he has votes. On the bright side, it means I dont have to listen to another delusional Nav speech, until ftc anyways.

But hey, whatever. I made it this far. I think this entire game Ive done a very good job making sure I was in the best position here tonight. Hopefully I will end this journey with a win. If not, I'll cry like a baby but I still dont regret playing. Thank you all for reading this, thank you hosties for hosting
