Challenges – Check out each challenge for specific rules on how to compete. A lot of the challenges are to be submitted in your confessionals so just remember to post them there. The majority of the challenges will be 24 hours long. However, some will last longer - see specific challenge for details. There are three different types of challenges that will take place this season…
Non-Live: The challenge will last 24 or 48 hours and you are not required to show up on time.
Semi-Live: The challenge will last 24 hours, but being here on time would be very beneficial.
Live: The challenge will probably not last 24 hours so it would be in your best interest to show up on time. These challenges will either take place on Skype or the boards.
Confessionals – Update your confessionals at least twice each round – it doesn't have to a two-hour movie, just short and sweet videos explaining your game. This is your forum to let us know your thoughts and plots and a good way of saying “I told you so” to other players once the game is finished. We may even ask some simple questions every now and then to pick your brains a little. Just remember, if you keep your confessional updated, you will be more likely to make All-Stars. Your confessionals will also hold your Voting Thread (see Voting).
Hosts – We, as the hosts, reserve the right to change or add to the rules as we see fit (everyone will be notified if something does change). We are here to host the game and enjoy watching how it plays out - not to use our authority and information to influence the results. All of the challenges and twists have been predetermined and the only reason anything would change is if anyone gets removed/quits. In those cases, we will simply get rid of challenges. Please feel free to contact us any time with any questions or just to talk - We are usually pretty easy to get in touch with!<3
Jury – We will notify the players in the game once everyone has reached the jury. We'd like for jury members to keep updated with the game so that you can use your jury powers to the fullest. We don’t have a strict guideline for posting, but please post enough to let us know that you’re around. If you go MIA or need to leave the game, you may give up or lose your spot on the jury. The hosts may try to keep the jury house lively by asking questions to try to get everyone’s opinion, so please take note and be as active as you can.
Losers – If you are a “loser” in the game – aka someone who doesn’t make the jury – please stay at least somewhat aware of the game. You never know when you may get a chance to join the jury if someone quits or goes MIA.
Communication – Because this season is "One World" format, communication with other tribes is completely fine!
Respect – Be mindful and respectful to your fellow players and the hosts. If the hosts have any reason to suspect that you’re cheating, the situation will be investigated and consequences WILL be given out. If you are caught cheating, you WILL be removed from the game.
Ties – In the event of a tie, there will be a re-vote in which only the tied Survivors can be voted for. If there is still a tie after the re-vote, the tie will be broken based on the infamous purple rock. That will continue all the way until the final five. If there is a tie at the final four, the tied contestants will compete in a tie-breaker challenge. If there is a tie at the Final Judgement, the third place finisher will break the tie.
Quitting – If someone decides to lay down their own torch, there will be some modifications to the game. The challenge and Judgement will continue as planned. The losing tribe(s) will still vote someone out. If the person quits once the jury phase of the game has begun, they will not join the jury. The final pre-juror will be added to the jury instead.
Transfer of Survival – If you win individual survival and would like to give it to someone else, you must say so in the Judgement Thread before the voting deadline (preferably as soon as possible after Judgement is posted). If survival is transferred, we will give everyone another 24 hours in order to review and/or change their votes (unless it is a live Judgement).
Judgement – Please refer to the Judgement area for more specific information on how it will be held. Some Judgement Ceremonies will take place LIVE on Skype. See specific Judgement ceremonies for more information on those events.
Hidden Immunity Idols – If you think you received a Hidden Immunity Idol, you will not be contacted by Production. You will have to trust your instincts and other people. Once an Idol is found, it will be removed from the board. This will help to ensure Production has no influence in Hidden Immunity Idol antics. If you choose to make a fake idol, do not ask Production to get involved. If you want to play your Hidden Immunity Idol, please post so with your vote. If you wish to give your Idol to someone else, post so in your confessional.
Voting – Votes will be cast in the Voting Thread in your confessional. Use the same voting thread throughout the entire game. Please refer to the Voting thread that is already posted in your confessional for details about voting each round. Your vote will not count if it is turned in past the voting deadline. If you fail to vote on time, I will pull your vote from your boot list. If I have to pull from that list twice in a row, you will be removed from the game. If you would like to change your vote, you may do so as many times as you would like before the deadline. We will post results at or after the deadline every round.
Boot Lists - We do not like to see any self-votes. For that reason, we are making a boot list required. You can update this list as many times as you like, but you must post one. If you fail to post a boot list before the first challenge, you will receive a disadvantage for your tribe in every challenge until it is posted. If I have to pull your vote from your boot list twice in a row, you will be removed from the game.
The most important rule: HAVE FUN!
